i don't mean to sound like a whiny little bitch but I probably do....

Anyways...I was wondering if Black Kat Kustoms gear was available from anywhere else in the USA besides the website? I was wanting to get my hands on one or two of the beaters (one white and one black) but they dont seem to be available.

Was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to help me out and possibly send some stuff over to me. I would be happy to write an international money order or send some money via online money transfer (including whatever it costs to send it over here).

So if anyone would be willing to help out can they please drop me a PM... I dont expect to be flooded with offers but I thought I'd at least ask!

Thanks in advance

Luke

I hope your interested in the gear because of the work they do on bikes and cutom cars...and not because you just see Mike wearing one....I hate trend followers or people who just do something because the other person is doing it...wear their gear because you like their custom work and be prepared to explain it when someone asks about the shop...but I haven't heard of any other place you can get them...either the website or their shows

Doesn't look like we can purchase and clothing online from www.longbeachclothing.com. Looks like they've got some sick stuff too! Anywhere we can get that stuff online?

I hate people who just follow trends too, but I mean the whole reason Mike started Black Kat was "to have something cool to wear," not really for the custom work. That's at least what the interview with him on the site says:
"I started Black Kat Kustoms because I hated everything else, I wanted to design kustom car, hot rod and chopper t-shirts, so I would have something cool to wear."
So it's kinda dumb to give this guy a hard time when he wants to buy one of these shirts for the exact reason Mike made them. Whatever, just my two cents

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">Of course dude...trust me, I have witnessed the Von Dutch plague and the retro band t-shirt trend down in Oz in the last couple of years and beleive me the people who follow trends piss me off even more than the trend itself! Having said that but I think the greatest quality anyone can have is for them to feel comfortable in their own skin. Be it clothing, music, cars or what have you I am very much an individual and if I wanna do it, eat it, wear it, support it, listen to it, drive it or follow it they are for my reasons and I don't give a toss what anyone else thinks!

I have been interested in vintage rods for the last couple of years now. Not sure I'll ever own my own rod but I really would love a Cherry Red Chev (an early 50s model, no later than a 54 but if I get desperate I'll go a 57 but nothing newer than that )and if fortune should one day smile on my sorry arse then I intend to get myself my dream car and do all the work on her myself. I have only seen what BKK have done from their gallery....if anything I marvel at the care and effort that goes into restoring classic cars! The same goes for some of the stuff I have seen on the Salinas Boys website...

As for BKK, I also see it as supporting Social Distortion as well. As for anyone asking about it....I'm not sure many people down here would even know what BKK is!

But RoadZombie, I totally see where you are coming from!

Luke, maybe you should take note that in my opinion the Black Kat Kustom clothing is a bit on the larger size.
I tend to wear XL T-Shirts but the XL Shirts from BKK are huuuge (just my impression).
You also might want to wait a little longer since Mike told me in late August whilst Social D was here in Germany that once he finds some time he reworks the store since most of the good stuff they had isn't available anymore...

And about the "trend" issue...Donny is a super-nice guy and builds some fine engines and bikes, but the reason I got (most of) the shirts from BKK is because of the fact that Mike is the mastermind behind the design, they make a great addition to my other Social D gear and are...subtle...is that the right word for it? I like them because they are not as flashy as some (Social D) shirts on the market.
I also doubt that any BKK shirt will ever "adore" the anorexic Paris Hilton and will become the next Von Dutch...thank god!

Hey Luke, I'll be happy to help out if you need me to. I sent Madtwins a shirt and 2 pairs of Converse recently. They sent the money by Western Union, I bought the items they wanted and then shipped it to Ukraine. It was really easy.
